About Us
Since christmas 1984 there has been at least one Old English Sheepdog in my life. At the moment we have three OES: Ragtales Request, Ragtales One Of A Kind and Sweet Expression's Knock Your Socks Off.
Since I was a child, I always wanted an Old English Sheepdog. However my dad was interested in hunting and my mother was more the lady-type, so I grew up with an absolutley adorable Welsh Springer Spaniel named Lizetta (Lundakullas Lizetta).
In 1984 I got my first Old English Sheepdog, Unnesta Prince Charming, call-name Totte. Totte was a very sweet, clever, wise and amazing dog. He could not be shown and was too clumsy for agility and had too much will of his own to do obedience. But he was full of LOVE for everybody he met: humans, dogs, cats, sheeps, horses etc. He was a very friendly dog and as strange as it may sound, I still miss him!
In 1987 I took a rescue OES, SEUCH Wolly Big Cannon. He had not been that badly treated, but noone really cared about him and when he moved to us, he was 7.5 years old and rather wild and was used to doing whatever he wanted.
By that time I had become interested in dog shows so I started to show Victor in veteran class. Victor had been shown when he was younger and was a Swedish Show Champion (SEUCH).
As Victor became older I began to look for a puppy again; a show puppy. With help from my friends who had contacts abroad (this was before the internet) I got in contact with Christina Bailey, and in 1991 INTUCH SEUCH LP1 Lamedazottel Heatwave came to me. We showed a lot with great success and I got an even deeper interest in this lovely breed. I started thinking about breeding and once again I turned to Christina and from her I got a lovely OES puppy girl: SEUCH LP1 Lamedazottel Obsession, called Bappi.
In 1995, when I came home from Crufts, I had my third OES from Christina in the baggage. It was SE UCH SE V-99 Zottels Songs Of Live, "Bob".
Bob and Bappi had their first litter in 1998, five puppies and two became champions. A repeat mating was done in 1999 which resulted in 8 puppies. I kept the two femalesfrom that litter, SEUCH Ragtales Request (Sally) and SEUCH Ragtales Rise And Shine (Ruth). Sally is still with us but Ruth was raised by another family. In 2004 Ruth was mated to SE UCH Hjärter Ess Pop Star and we kept Ragtales Pick Of The Peaches, but she lived with her mother Ruth's family.
I 2005 Ragtales Rise and Shine gave us a litter of 9 beautiful puppies with Ch Danish Delight Give Me A Break. From that litter we kept one female puppy: C.I.B. SEUCH FINUCH NOUCH JEUW-06 SV-07 Ragtales One of A Kind. Another two puppies from that litter became champions.
A couple of years ago I started to look around for a new puppy and in 2008 our Becky, SE UCH Sweet Expression's Knock Your Socks Off, came to us. In june 2011 Becky had her first litter, sired by Great Danish True Born Bobtail.
